Choose Vaxchora as a single dose taken at least 10 days before travel, or Dukoral as two doses 1–6 weeks apart.
The Dukoral option may also give some cover against ETEC, a common cause of travellers’ diarrhoea.
What is Cholera?

We talk through your itinerary and our pharmacist advises which cholera vaccine option is right for your trip.
You drink the vaccine at the pharmacy — no needles. Vaxchora is a single dose; Dukoral starts your two-dose course.
If you choose Dukoral, we book your second dose 1 to 6 weeks later, at least a week before you fly.
Usually well tolerated — occasional mild stomach upset, nausea or a low fever.
Given to adults and children from 2 years old, with dosing adjusted by age.
Not available on the NHS for travel purposes, so we offer it privately with no referral needed.
